All about the JURA GIGA X8c – two grinders, plumbed in

The GIGA X8c combines JURA’s top volume, up to 200 cups a day, with a permanent water connection through a 3/4 inch thread, so the machine never waits for a tank. Two ceramic grinders, each with a 650 g bean container, let you serve a house blend and a decaf side by side, and two pumps and two thermoblocks keep the queue moving. The HP3 milk system serves through a dual spout that adjusts from 70 to 159 mm.

How many people is the JURA GIGA X8c for?
JURA recommends up to 200 cups a day. Counting about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is a team of around 60 people. Check your peak too: if everyone takes a coffee in the same ten minutes, size up.

What do we need on site?
A water tap with a 3/4 inch thread within reach of the machine, a power socket, and room to empty the grounds container and drip tray. Tell us what is there when you ask for a quote, so we can check the setup with you.

Can we run a decaf next to the house coffee?
Yes. Each grinder has its own 650 g bean container, so two coffees are always available.

Who keeps it clean, and how long does it take?
Your team can do it without a cleaner. Daily: empty the grounds container and the drip tray while the machine is switched on. After milk drinks, run the milk system cleaning with the supplied cleaning container. When the machine asks for it, roughly every 180 preparations, run the cleaning program with a JURA cleaning tablet. Change the CLARIS filter when the machine signals it; with the filter in use you do not need to descale.
