All about the JURA GIGA X8 – two grinders, 5 l tank

The GIGA X8 has two ceramic grinders with their own 650 g bean containers, two pumps, two thermoblocks and two fluid systems, for up to 200 cups a day from a 5 liter tank. A brewing unit of 5 to 16 g, ten coffee strength levels and ten milk temperature levels let you set each drink precisely, and the machine is ready for payment and remote monitoring with Payment Connect, Wi-Fi Connect and the Data Communicator, optional JURA accessories.

How many people is the JURA GIGA X8 for?
JURA recommends up to 200 cups a day. Counting about 3.3 cups per person per working day, that is a team of around 60 people. Check your peak too: if everyone takes a coffee in the same ten minutes, size up.

What is the difference between the GIGA X8 EB and EA?
Both have the same two grinders and 5 liter tank. The EB (model year 2023) is also ready for Wi-Fi Connect, Payment Connect and the Data Communicator, optional JURA accessories; the EA works with Smart Connect.

Can visitors or staff pay for a coffee on the JURA GIGA X8?
The machine is ready for it with Payment Connect and Pocket Pilot 2.0, JURA’s web-based system for cashless payment and machine management. Both are optional JURA accessories, not part of the standard package; tell us how you want people to pay and we include the right one in the quote.

Who keeps it clean, and how long does it take?
Your team can do it without a cleaner. Daily: empty the grounds container and the drip tray while the machine is switched on, and top up the tank with fresh water. After milk drinks, run the milk system cleaning with the supplied cleaning container. When the machine asks for it, roughly every 180 preparations, run the cleaning program with a JURA cleaning tablet. Change the CLARIS filter when the machine signals it; with the filter in use you do not need to descale.
