Know where your coffee comes fromA delicious Kenya coffee for filter from the Kamwangi factory in the northeast part of Kirinyaga. Roughly 985 small coffee farmers deliver their coffee to the washing station. Each farmer owns an average of 200–250 coffee trees and they often grow crops other than coffee as well, for this reason they rely on a central washing station for processing of their coffee. This coffee is fully washed for a clean cup with a juicy mouthfeel. 
Although we absolutely love Kenyan coffee at OR Coffee Roasters, it's very difficult to buy Direct Trade from this country. Government control over the coffee production makes it impossible to buy from one farmer. For this reason we buy all our Kenyan coffee via a partner.
